“I want to go bowling…but where?”

Neighborhood Merchants

I enjoyed spending a little time today with Brad Farris, owner and operator of The Alley, Ellijay’s premiere family fun center. As Farris was happy to show me, the facility features a wide range of both classic and cutting-edge games and activities, including a twelve-lane bowling alley, laser tag, arcade games, billiards, and two inflatable bouncy houses. The Alley even has a one-of-a-kind Build Ur Buddy area where kids can customize their own teddy bears.

The family owned and operated fun center is housed in a large, well-maintained facility that features bright hand-painted murals and plenty of space for parents to relax. A concession area offers drinks, pizzas, and other baked items, as well as a huge selection of hard candies.

The Alley is a great place for birthday parties and family get-togethers of all sizes. League bowling is hosted on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30pm, and the place comes alive with Cosmic bowling on Friday and Saturday nights from 8 till midnight.

Gather up the gang for Friday and Saturday night (9-12pm) bowling sessions; groups of any size only cost $10.99. Regular bowling prices are $2 for shoe rentals and $3 per game. Other activities are reasonably priced as well: bouncy house admission is $5; laser tag games are $4; and Build Ur Buddy teddy bears are $15.99.

Located in the Spring Plaza shopping center on Industrial Boulevard, The Alley is open from 10am till 10pm Monday through Thursday, 10am till midnight Friday and Saturday, and from 1pm till 8pm on Sundays. To arrange private events or for bowling league information, give Mr. Farris a call at (706) 276 3130.
