Mr. Wilford “Bill” Henderson Reneau age 79 of Ellijay died Saturday April 2, 2011.

Mr. Reneau was born on July 5, 1931 in Maryville, TN. He is the son of the late Rev. Paul A. Reneau and Mary Shamblin Reneau. He worked in management for the Chrysler Corporation, was a US Air Force Veteran and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA.

Survivors include: Wife: Phyllis Reneau of the home; Son & daughter-in-law: Barry & Deirdre Reneau, Germantown, TN; Daughter & son-in-law: Kim & Bob Chester, Ellijay; 7 Grandchildren Jenifer & Eric Mansfield, Katie & Kyle Taylor, Megan, Jack, Charles, Henry & Mae Mae Reneau; 2 Great grandchildren; Brothers: Charles G. Reneau, Oneida, TN, Buddy Reneau, Kennesaw, GA; Sisters: Lynell Meier, St. Charles, MO, Spicy Ridenour, Winter Park, FL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 5, 2011 at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay with Rev. Rubin Smith officiating.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 12pm noon from the East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery in Maryville, TN with Rev. Eric Mansfield officiating.

Visitation will be held Tuesday April 5th from 2pm until 4pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
