Mrs. Frances Reece Dixon age 78 of Jasper died Wednesday July 20, 2011.

Mrs. Dixon was born on March 6, 1933 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Horace Reece and Havannah Evans Reece. She was a retired OR Tech from Pickens General Hospital and a member of the Clear Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Dixon.

Survivors include: Nieces: Mary Nell Agan, Janice Davenport & Betty Abercrombie all of Ellijay; Special friends & neighbors: Mary Ruth Parker, Stan & Ann Dean, Annette Anderson, Bonnie & Red Fountain, Mary Edmondson, Peggy Petty, Edna & Frances Townsend; Several great nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 21, 2011 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks & Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will be in the Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday July 20th from 6pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Brent Sanford @ 187 Bible Baptist Rd. Ellijay, GA 30536.

Family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
