SOUTHEASTERN GILMER COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 345 PM EDT

* AT 945 AM EDT…EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH
FLOODING FROM HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS IN THE TALONA CREEK BASIN IN
THE WARNED AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND TWO INCHES HAVE
FALLEN IN THE PAST TWO HOURS AND SMALL CREEKS ARE OUT OF THEIR
BANKS AND CAUSING FLOODING IN FIELDS AND PASTURES. FLOOD WATERS
HAVE ENTERED A HOME ON SHAMROCK FARM ROAD.

ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED TO MOVE OVER
THE WARNED AREA THROUGH NOON. THIS MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLOODING.
