We will be teaching a “Learn How to Use Windows Word” class once again. This is a class designed for beginners. Seats are limited so registration is required.

Adult Lunch and Learn Knitting & Crocheting

Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Lauren Cape and Lynda Decker will be your host and teacher. Already know how to knit, come for the fun! If you are unable to attend a meeting, come when you can, you don’t have to be at every class. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color.

The Bookshelf
Calling all Civil War buffs! The Bookshelf is featuring an interesting collection of books on the Civil War this week, with a very nice selection on the generals of the war.

Remember that the library welcomes donations of gently read books and magazines. Those that the library doesn’t need come to the Bookshelf, with all the proceeds benefiting the library. Don’t forget to visit the “back room” of the Bookshelf for newly stocked non-fiction and magazines.

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from noon-2:00 on Saturdays.
