Gilmer County Courthouse Jury Assembly Room—Second Floor

9 AM—4 PM

When children are removed from their home and come into foster care, they often come in without many belongings if any. Often those belongings are placed in a garbage bag for convenience. We want to make a difference in the lives of these children and need your help. On Thursday, March 30th, we will host “Operation Foster Child”. There are two ways in which you may help. First, we need donations of items (see list below) to be included in our shoe boxes, backpacks and tote bags. These items can be dropped off Monday—Friday at the CASA office on the second floor of the courthouse between 8 AM—5 PM. Second, we need volunteers to help pack these boxes and backpacks so that they are ready to delivery to a child in need. If you can make a donation or just give us an hour of your time, you will be making the difference in the life of a child.
