  • University of North Georgia Blue Ridge Campus will hold an open house on Thursday, April 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Learn about the admission process, dual enrollment, financial aid and the Blue Ridge Scholars Program.  Light refreshments will be served.  Register at ung.edu/visit.
  • Dalton State College Gilmer County Center will hold an open house on Thursday, April 13, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for students and parents to tour the facility, get information about MOWR, admissions, majors, and financial aid.  Light refreshments will be served.
  • Attention seniors: Need help with the FAFSA?  Rebecca Hammond of the Educational Opportunity Center is accepting appointments at GHS to assist students and their parents in completing the application on Wednesdays beginning February 8th. Appointments with Mrs. Hammond can be made in the Attendance Office with Mrs. May.  Please see your counselor for more details.
  • Move On When Ready information sessions will be held at GHS from 11:30-1:00 on Friday, April 14th and 28th. These fill up fast, so call your counselor if you want to attend!

  • Vivint Smart Home Scholarship – Application Deadline: 04/01/2017
  • Georgia Beta Epsilon – Application Deadline: April 3
  • Better Business Bureau 2017 Student of Integrity Scholarship – Application Deadline: 04/07/2017
  • Extend The Dream Scholarship – Application Deadline: 04/15/2017
  • QuestBridge College Prep Scholars (for JUNIORS) – No application deadline
