The teachers and administrators of Ellijay Elementary School (EES), held a night of science, family fun, and experiments for all their students, grades second to fourth.
Mad Scientist Night consisted of different stations in which teachers from all grades would perform a variety of experiments. Students and their family’s went from station to station watching and performing their own scientific experiments.
The students showed amusement and cheer as they stopped at each different station and saw the outcomes of their experimentations. Parents rejoiced to see their children collaborating in all the available experiments.
EES had a lunchroom full of smiling parents and children. Principal Lauree Pierce and Assistant Principal Melinda Fonteboa were joyous to see all the families who came to join in on the fun of the afternoon.
Thanks to the EES faculty not only was the night a night of parent teacher cooperation but, it was also an evening to share joy with family. For the teachers, administrators, children and their families the night was a complete success.
