FYN has confirmed the husband has confessed to investigators that he killed his wife and is being charged in the murder. According to authorities there was an argument between the couple that led to a struggle. It appears from open records the couple moved into the location in 2005 and are not originally from the area. FYN has been reporting since early this morning about a report of a local home invasion. Videos of the Sheriff’s press releases now posted.

Sheriff Nicholson told FYN early Wednesday that they received a report of a home invasion at a home in Coosawattee and the 911 call was made by the husband. According to the statement made to 911 early Wednesday morning by the caller (unnamed at the time) 2 white males abducted him, partially bound him, and forced him to drive the two men to another location.

FYN learned from Nicholson that the husband stated that he drove the 2 men to their car at Flat Creek Baptist Church which is only a short distance. He then told the police he was able to escape. Police discovered the female victim at the time they answered the 911 call early this morning. There was only a vague description given of the 2 white males and a car. The husband was being interviewed by investigators at the time FYN received Nicholson’s first press release.

FYN has confirmed the victim’s home located at 344 Eagle Mountain Drive is the home of Donald & Barbara Bossa. GBI removed the body from the home to be transported to the crime lab as the investigation continues. Sheriff Nicolson explained they have spoken to the Coosawattee Security and will hopefully review security video that could show the husband’s car leaving Coosawattee. It does not appear that anything was stolen from the home. The cause of death had not been determined at this time.

FYN first learned from Sheriff Nicholson that a home invasion occurred in the Eagle Mountain Entrance section of the Coosawattee between 3 – 4 am Wednesday morning.

According to Sheriff Nicholson a home invasion call between 3 – 4 am Wednesday morning has resulted in a murder investigation. The GBI and local Sheriff’s Dept. are investigating the murder in the Coosawattee in the Eagle Mountain entrance. FYN will continue working to gain more knowledge of this and will update as more information becomes available for release.
