Daily Prayer: 12/03/2012
“From that time many of His disciples went back, and walked no more with Him.” John 6:66
Our Heavenly Father, we humbly bow before you in praise and adoration. We are thankful for the privilege to come to you and to know that you are with us in our daily walk. We are so prone to wander –prone to leave the God we love. There are so many who make a false profession of faith and commitment to you and soon they are back in their old way of living and the old life.
Teach us that one cannot live the new life with the old heart. Forbid that the name of Christ should be shamed in such a way.
Look into the depth of the soul of this one who seeks prayer and see the need and the desire and whether or not this person has become one of your children through the redeeming grace of Christ the Savior.
Amen.
