Clear Creek Middle School Basketball Banquet

The Clear Creek Middle School seventh and eight grade girls’ and boys’ Bobcats basketball teams held the annual end of the year banquet. The banquet featured food and fellowship with the teams and the Bobcat community, as well as recognition of the end of the year superlatives for each team.The eighth grade girls’ team was honored for winning the North Georgia Middle School Region Championship, which resulted in a “Time Out” dance performed by head coach Susan Nunn. Nunn promised a performance at the place and time designated by the team if the championship was brought back to Gilmer. The seventh grade boys’ team, which finished as the region runner up after finishing 3-12 last year, was also honored.

The boys’ teams combined to have 21 of 25 honor students. The eighth grade girls had a combined 27-5 record over the last two years, with three of the losses coming at the hands of Dawson, the region runner up to Clear Creek this year.
