On Friday, January 11th, EES held its school spelling bee.

The 16 contestants were winners of their classroom bees held in December. Everyone did a great job, but two girls went through a grueling 10-round-battle to determine first place! In the end Heather Pierce was our winner, with Lauren Smith placing second. Both girls will compete in the January 31st System-wide Bee against the school winners from MVES, GMS, and CCMS.
