In ceremonies at the Ellijay 1st Baptist Church, 10 February 2013, Captain James Bradley was officially installed as chaplain to the 507th Ellijay Composite Squadron.
Officiating at the installation are Major, Chaplain Westbrook, Georgia Wing Chaplain, and Pastor David Drake, Pastor at Ellijay 1st Baptist Church.
Captain Bradley is the first chaplain of the 507th which was chartered in 2011. While his duties will be ministering to the 507th, Bradley makes himself available to citizens throughout north Georgia, and indeed, all of Georgia if the necessity arises.
Captain, Chaplain Bradley will continue to be the 507th squadron administrator, unit morale and welfare officer, and motivational leader to the squadron. His distinctive style and delivery make him a favorite during training meetings with members of the squadron.
Captain Bradley received high praise for his contributions to the church and community for many years. Jim is a native of Gilmer County, retired Air Force veteran and community leader.
The 507th Ellijay Composite Squadron is happy to have Chaplain Bradley as our spiritual leader and proud of his service and dedication to country, community and the squadron.
Congratulations, Chaplain Bradley.
