Community

Faith, Hope & Charity Recycle Store, Inc. contributed $30,000 to Isaiah House. Tom Rippy, Business Manager of FHC stated,

“Isaiah House contributes to the Gilmer Community by offering a home, counseling and job opportunities to men who wish to change their lives.”

Sally Jeffrey said

“Isaiah House could not have been founded and maintained without the support of FHC”.

Isaiah House only accepts those addicted to drugs and alcohol who truly wish to redirect their lives. They require a regimented program requiring the twelve steps to recovery are followed and the men attend a minimum of two meetings a week. Counseling is required which teaches relationship maintenance, money management, and respect for authority.

Isaiah House has a zero tolerance policy and requires all the men to work and pay their own way.
FHC is located at 449 Industrial Blvd. and welcomes donations of clothing, appliances and furniture and household goods. It is an all volunteer organization and all sales generated are from donations.
