"GEARS" Team Performs at Gilmer Rotary 2/25 Meeting

At our February 25th meeting, Patrick McVey is seen presenting donations to Ben Sexton of Ellijay Elementary School and to Michael Shawler, supervisor of the Gilmer High School GEARS, Gilmer Engineering And Robotics, team who presented our program.

The GEARS team is shown demonstrating the robot that they built and will enter into competition. This was a most interesting program provided by Michael Shawler and his GEARS team. Charlie Pults, our club treasurer, also gave a personal donation to the GEARS team.

Patrick McVey gave our club an update on the progress of our upcoming golf tournament.
