Alice Puckett Edwards : Obituary
Alice Puckett Edwards age 80, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed Thursday morning, March 7th, 2013, at the Wildwood Nursing facility, in Talking Rock, Georgia.
She was of the Baptist Faith. Born July 2nd, 1932, to her late parents John William and Effie Margaret Stepp Puckett in Jasper, Pickins County, Georgia. Alice is preceded in death by her husband James Edwards, son John James Edwards, brothers Charlie, Clifford, Riley, Henry, and Billy Puckett.
She is survived by her brothers Paul H. Puckett of Athens, Ga., Phillip Pucket of Atlanta, Ga., Eddie Gene Puckett of Cartersville, Ga., and Danny A. Puckett of Morganton, Georgia, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel. Flowers are acceptable.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, March 9th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Roy Scott officiating, and Glenda Puckett and Linda Long providing vocals. Interment will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
