Cats Caught by Chiefs: Shut out by Sequoyah
The Gilmer High School Bobcats boys soccer team fell at home to the Chiefs of Sequoyah High School 5-0, despite being tied 0-0 at half time.
Neither team was able to keep control of the ball throughout the first half, which each team getting multiple shots on goal. The score was tied 0-0 going into the second half.
About 15 minutes into the second half, the Chiefs broke the 0-0 tie with a goal. Over the next 10 minutes the proverbial floodgates opened as Sequoyah scored four more goals securing the 5-0 victory.
