Oakland Elementary School on Hwy. 52 East has been opened as a temporary shelter those is in need.After a disaster, communities and families can turn to the American Red Cross for help. They provide comfort and care—free of charge.

At the emergency shelter disaster victims can find safe shelter, hot meals, essential relief supplies, emotional support and health services like first aid.

The shelter will remain open until it is deemed that all residents have a safe place to stay.
