Gilmer Nursing Home held the dedication on August 22nd for the Ladies Auxiliary Beauty Shop.
Tammy Baker, L.P.N., Activity Director was all smiles as she thanked all that had worked so hard to make this beauty shop a reality.

Baker recognized special guests First Baptist Church of Ellijay Mission Team and also Gilmer Nursing Home Engineering Department for their assistance and hard work. Also a special thanks to Smitty’s Engraving for the plaque they provided.

Diane Fowler, President of the North Georgia Ladies Auxiliary was pleased to explain how the services would work and provide beauty appointments for men and women in the new Beauty Shop!
Emuel Sanford, Minister and part of the First Baptist Church Mission Team said a Dedication Prayer. Sanford was pleased the mission team from his church were able to help with the beauty shop and called it a place to, “renew their dignity.” He went on to say,
“It’s been a great dream and now it’s a reality.”
