From the Gilmer County Schools: For Wednesday, January 8th - In speaking with EMA Services, primary roads are clear for safe travel, and temperature should be the only concern. With that information, we will be holding school on our normal schedule.
Gilmer County Schools update from the GCSO:
Gilmer County Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. Faculty/Staff report at 10:00 a.m.
Per Gilmer County Schools: All activities/sports are canceled for Tuesday, January 7th as well.
Based on extreme temperature concerns, students will NOT report on Tuesday, January 7th. Faculty/Staff are to report at 10:00 AM, as EMA believes most roads should be accessible by that point. If employees feel they are unable to make it safely, they are to contact building level administration directly.
We will still hold the BOE Work Session at 5:30 tomorrow evening.
