* AT 140 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED FLASH FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WARNED AREA.
* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO MOUNTAINTOWN AND ELLIJAY.
THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STREAMS AND DRAINAGES... MOUNTAINTOWN CREEK... EAST MOUNTAINTOWN CREEK... CONASAUGA CREEK... HARPER CREEK... DAVIS CREEK... KELLS CREEK... THE ELLIJAY RIVER... RODGERS CREEK... TURNIPTOWN CREEK... OWLTOWN CREEK... GUNSTOCK BRANCH... FIR CREEK AND FLAT CREEK.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS... HIGHWAYS AND STREETS. ADDITIONALLY... COUNTRY ROADS... FARMLANDS AND WOODLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS... STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
