Faith Prayers That Work

Religion

By Dr. Bob Allen
Beware! You can spend a lot of time praying all about yourself and getting nowhere. There are faith prayers that never work, but If we can get to know The Lord Jesus Christ better, we can know what to expect every time we pray.He wants us to get our prayers answered. He wants to be a Father to us.

Matt. 21:22 says all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing you shall receive. That, my friend, is a big promise. The question is, how much do you believe for?

Let’s start by looking at a few faith prayers that never work.

Ps 51:11 “Lord, take not thy Holy Spirit from me”.

This prayer could never be answered, and God would consider it faithless. When David prayed that prayer he did not have the Holy Spirit dwelling in him like you do, because the spirit had never been given out until after the ascension of the Master. He would come upon David when he would speak for the Lord, but would not remain on him, like he is in you: if you are his.

Father would have to change his words to answer this prayer, and God would consider your prayer faithless.

In Hebrews 13:5 He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. His Spirit, which is the Holy Spirit, dwells in you all the time, and for all times.

Jesus said in John 14:16 “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter that He may abide with you forever.” The Lord Jesus said “Forever.” He meant it, and you should know what you have as a child of God in order to properly value your relationship.

Verse 17, “Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive: because it sees him not, neither knows him, but ye know him for he dwells with you, and shall be in you”. Think about it. The world can’t have what you have, but can you see it, do you get it?

Verse 18, Jesus said “I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you”.

Isaiah 64:1, ”Oh that You would rend the heavens and come down.” This is a faithless prayer for born again people since he is living in us.

Mark 15:38 “The veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.” When Jesus was crucified, the curtain was ripped open forever, He’s down and living on the inside.

Lord rebuke the devil for me, bind him, and protect me.

Luke 10:1 Jesus said, ” I give you power over all the power of the enemy.”

JAMES 4:7 “Submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Mark 16:18 “These signs shall follow them that believe in my name, they shall cast out devils”. That is your job. Asking God to do it would be like hiring a man to work for you, and then his turning around and asking you to do his work.

John 3:30 “I must decrease while he must increase”.

No, no, God wants you to be full. He wants nothing but increase, and growth for you. He wants to increase His Son Jesus through your life. How many parents out there who don’t want their children to increase, and do better than they did?

John the Baptist made that statement, but he was the last of the Old Testament prophets. He was before the New Testament. He was born before Jesus, remember Jesus said, “The least of you are greater than John,” you are his child.

Example Old Testament, if the leper touched you, you were unclean. The New Testament builds on the love of God; you touch the leper, and he becomes clean.

Father God cannot answer prayed to the Blessed Mother. They can’t even come before him.

John 14:6 Jesus said, ”I am the way, the truth, and the life and no one can come to the Father, but by Me”.

1 Tim 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man; the man Christ Jesus.”

Let me sum this up for you, if I pray for what I already have I am getting nothing. In other words, what God has already given me I can no longer expect? This hinders my faith life, because my prayer can’t be answered, and therefore I will have no joy or rejoicing in the Lord. The Father is disappointed when you don’t believe, and act on what he has already said, and promised, and given to you.

Jesus said, ”All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer believing ye shall receive.” You can have faith in his promises.

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” How good is that? John goes on to say

14 “And this is the confidence that we can have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will he hears us, and if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask we know that we have what we desired of him.” Know it, put it in your pocket and then walk away.

John 10:10 “This is one of the most significant words said by the Master:” “I came that they might have life, and have it more abundantly”. If you need it or want it, and it’s in His will he wants you to have it? Put your faith to work, go for it.

Psalm 119; 89 says, “Forever the word is settled in heaven.” So you can settle it in your heart and mind that, that’s God’s stand concerning you.

Jesus said, “He that believes on me has passed out of death to life”. If you are born again, you have come out of the realm of judgment, the realm of Satan and into the realm of God.

You are now of the God kind, and have been translated into the kingdom of God.

Man is a spirit being. He is in the same class with God; he was created in the same image and likeness of God, who is spirit. He had to be, in order to become a partaker of the divine, but man has a soul, and lives in a body made out of dust from the ground. God did not come from dust.

When you were a sinner you were a partaker of Satan nature.

When man is washed in the blood of the lamb, Christ Jesus, God imparts his own nature, his own spirit, eternal spirit into him.

His body is the home of his own born again spirit, and God’s Spirit, (think two) but also his five senses; his brain gets its information through his senses. Sometimes it’s fight time between the two.

John 15:1 Jesus said, “I am the vine you are the branches”. The branch has no ability to separate itself from the vine.

John11:25 Jesus said:” Whosoever loves, and believes in me, even thou he were dead, yet shell he live, He said do you believe this”. It is everlasting life that is forever, starting now my friend.

John 11:26 Jesus said, “Whosoever loves and believes in me shall never die”. Actually, spirit can’t die. When your body stops, your spirit just steps out into the presence of the Lord. However, there is a cheaper plan where you don’t even have to repent, Plan B, you just step out of the body and are carried into a torching, burning hell, by demons. Stay on the right path.

Rom 6:23 Paul said, “The wages of sin is death.” Jesus took your sin debt, or you still owe it. I ask you, friend, are you paid up? Ask the Lord, be sure. The same promise that can take you to heaven, can take the rejecter of the truth in Christ Jesus to hell.

2 Cor 5:21 Paul said, “For he has made him to be sin for us who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”. Now Let‘s break this down: Tell me friend have you ever been loved like that before; ever been made righteousness before, well you are; that is if you can believe for it.

Jesus was carried like a lamb to the slaughter carrying your sin in his body; his own blood washed your sin away. Now, if you believe this, it puts you in a position to become a very righteous person. His blood makes you right, puts you right. Have faith in God; he has faith in you, and has plans for you.

I testify to you, out of experience, that you can put your faith in a God like this; you can trust this kind of God who would take your ugly sins in his body, and then blot them out with His precious, sinless blood. Love has never been so good, and real as it is with the Lord and you.

Deut 6:4 “Hear oh Israel, the Lord our God is one God:” The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. All are one, and all yours, and all are for you now. Think about you and him. Did you know all of heaven will back you up when you step out in faith?

Father God has been very faithful in all of his promises; even to the shedding of the blood of his own son. This is the kind of God that you can love, trust, and put all your faith in. Jesus said, ”I will never leave you nor forsake you”. You can put your faith here.

How can you not put all your faith in the one that loves you with perfect love? He, Jesus, can make this claim: I am the only one that shed blood for you. Put your faith in me.

1 Pet2:24 Peter said, “who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sin should live unto righteousness, by whose strips ye were healed”. Are you still knee deep in sin? Why? “Jesus Paid it All”.

1 Pet 3:18 “For Christ also hath once suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God being put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the spirit”. The just man suffered for you; to make you right. Believe in the one that put you that way. Take your place, trust him.

My friend you have every reason to bow your heart before this wonderful God and Father that we have, in the name of his son Christ Jesus, and worship him and believe him. You can anchor your life here.

Every promise of God: Health, prosperity, peace, love, joy, Gods richest blessings awaits you Put your faith to work, go after it

Mal 3:10 “God said prove me now”, well! Do it.
