Mr. Truman E. Reece age 78 of Burnt Mountain Rd. Ellijay died Monday October 20, 2014. Mr. Reece was born December 31, 1935 in Gilmer County the son of the late Wesley and Mamie Bearden Reece. He was a self-employed mechanic and farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Willard, Howard, Russell and Worth Reece, Carlene Cox.

Survivors include: Wife: Charme Reece, Daughter: Tammy McClure, Ellijay, Sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Donna Reece, Bruce and Haley Reece all of Ellijay, 7 grandchildren, Gina and Jason Farmer, Ashlyn Reece, Brett McClure, Whitley Reece, Tyra McClure, Lark Reece, Blake Reece, 3 great-grandchildren, Cooper Farmer, Weston Farmer, Kensie Farmer., Brother and sister-in-law: McKinley and Patsy Reece, Jenkinsburg, Sisters: Joyce Anderson, Jenkinsburg, Venta Lee Parks, Ellijay, Sister-in-laws: Annalene Reece, Jasper, Charlotte Reece, Merle Garland both of Ellijay, Brother-in-law: Romie Cox, Cumming , several nices and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 22 at 4:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Chad Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 11:00am until 7:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart-Lite Hospice or the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Reece.
