The Real Test…

Opinion

Opinion by George McClellan:The real test the Republican Party will soon face is just around the corner, or there won’t be a Republican Party. The big question is, will the GOP continue the Progressives unconstitutional big government policies that only enrich politicians, steal from the wealth creators and enslave the middle class, or will they realize the cultural and economic dangers facing America from the ‘left’ and work to reverse America’s leftist course, its inevitable slide into totalitarism?

We know it’s the “war mongering” Republicans, stonewalled by Harry Reid at every turn, who is accused of shutting down the government, of conducting a war on women, ignoring the poor, the lame and halt, and wanting to enslave the citizens. Of course that’s the Liberal game plan and they are very good at spinning propaganda.

We know It’s the Liberals (Obama/Reid) who will not negotiate one single Republican point, that has stopped government. We know it is the Liberals who have waged a war on women. We know it was the Democrat party that was the party of the Ku Klux Klan and it was the Democrat party alone, that hung the albatross of Obamacare around our necks as an economic enslavement plan. The Democrats have become expert at casting the Republican’s in the role of the bad guy’s. They must if they want to make America a socialist country in their image.

If the Senate is taken for the Republicans, and keeps the House, as expected, then we will see where our Republican leadership really stands. Will they work in America’s best economic interests or will they succumb to the siren call of big money/lobbyists to serve big government’s best interest? If it turns out to be the latter, then this election will have been a sham. The Conservative base (Tea Party) will either leave the Republican party or take it over completely. If they become disenchanted with the current state of politics, then America very will may face years of internecine warfare.

The electorate will recognize what path the GOP will take if, when the government becomes Republican, they enacts law(s) that do not exempt themselves (congress) from the same laws that they pass for the rest of us! I mean all laws, especially Obamacare! If that had been the case five years ago, then the Unaffordable No-Care Act would never had seen the light of day. A second issue that will reveal the Republican leadership mindset is if they move to pass a balanced budget amendment. The third issue would be to face directly the illegal immigration problem, start deportations and make jobs here for Americans. If I can at least see these three issues before Congress, I can have hope that the others will follow. We will tell them what they need to do. That’s our responsibility, if we believe that they are our servants, we are not theirs!

At the moment I am not sanguine that the Republican Party will move quickly enough to effect the changes so desperately needed. But, I do see real conservatives entering the fray like Ga. 9th CD Representative Doug Collins, 14th CD Rep. Tom Graves and, hopefully, newly elected Senator David Perdue, as well as other conservative candidates all around the nation, as shining a light of hope on solving Americas liberal created social and economic dilemmas.

Once the Congress becomes Republican again, then incompetent GOPer’s can be identified for replacement. It will be a hard job but a necessary one. The base can no longer rest on its laurels, which got us into trouble in the first place, but must restart the essential process of educating the electorate and not leaving it to the marxists/progressives again. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now go get ‘em, but go vote first. Don’t forget that and take your ol’ granny to vote too! Now, get out there and do something!
