Mrs. Barbara Lee Beal Tipps age 77 of Warlick Circle Ellijay died Wednesday February 16, 2011.
Mrs. Tipps was born on August 13, 1933 in Catoosa Co. GA. She is the daughter of the late J. V. Beal and Eula Hensley Beal. She was a member of the Springs of Life Church in Chatsworth, GA. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Tipps and a son Eric Collis.
Survivors include: Daughter: Illene Collis Stanley, Ellijay; Son: Greg Sumner, Ellijay; Step-daughters: Cathy Wyatt, Acworth, GA, Becky Neal, Estel Springs, TN; Step-son: Joe & Wanda Ward, OK; Brothers: Joe Wayne Beal, Clyde Beal & Claude Bell all of Ellijay; 2 Grandchildren Brandy Stanley Green, Ellijay, Duane & Stephanie Evans, Ringgold, GA; 2 Great grandchildren Gabriel & Madelyn Evans.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 19, 2011 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks & Rev. Floyd Tenny officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery followed with a white dove release.
Visitation will be held Thursday Feb. 17th from 1pm until 9pm and all day Friday Feb. 18th until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
