ETC to the Rescue

This morning work began on the United Community Bank Educational Building. The work was soon halted this afternoon when the digger did not have enough down pressure to dig the post holes. Worry about who could help or who they could call at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday soon turned to relief.Remembering ETC’s generous offer to help, a call was placed and 15 minutes later ETC’s Alvin Reece was on the scene with an ETC digger truck. The work resumed quickly as Alvin coordinated with volunteers Tim Sullivan and Jim Fox. ETC was able to dig the post holes for the United Community Education Building, a hole for the Flag pole, and then moved on to help out in the amphitheatre area above the barn site.

The volunteers also wanted to express how much they enjoyed the wonderful lunch provided today by Poole’s BBQ. The outreach by the local community has been amazing. Everything happening and everything involved in this event is so overwhelming we can only grasp the magnitude a moment at a time. American Spirit is the most amazing thing in the world so let’s PAY IT FORWARD! And all this before next Thursday’s Kick-off!
