Pursuant to the Georgia Constitution, Article IX, Section II, Paragraph 1, et seq., the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners propose to amend an act creating The Board of Commissioners of Gilmer County, approved March 27, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p. 3824) as amended, so as to change the provision related to the powers and duties and the purchasing of goods and services and competitive bids requirement, to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

Pursuant to the Georgia Constitution, Article IX, Section II, Paragraph 1, et seq. and Chapter Five of Title Forty-Six of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated (O.C.G.A. §46-5-1 et seq.), the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners propose to adopt an ordinance to impose a prepaid wireless 9-1-1 charge; to provide for an effective date of said ordinance; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

3. Action on Resolution #11-053, Adopting a General Obligation Bond Millage Rate for 2011.

4. Action on Resolution #11-054, Authorizing the Chairman to transmit the North West Georgia Regional Commissions FY’2011-2015 updated Short Term Work Program and Capital Improvement Program Elements (STWP & CIP) for Gilmer County and the Cities of Ellijay and East Ellijay.

5. Consideration for a Resolution in support of the proposed composition of the 9th Congressional District.

6. Action on Resolution #11-055, Adopting a 1st Reader Ordinance to impose a 9-1-1 charge on Prepaid Wireless Service.
