Flat Bed Semi Stuck on Hump in the Asphalt

Police responded to a call on January 25 around 10:30 a.m. after an unidentified flat bed semi truck tried to navigate a right turn onto Highway 52 West from Boardtown Road and became “stuck” on a hump in the asphalt. Traffic from Boardtown Road was re-routed around the truck via Maryann Street except those who were going 52 West because there was room for them to navigate around the truck. Cars approaching the truck on Dalton Street from downtown were u-turned to find other routes to their destinations.

Around 11:00, an unidentified Ford F350 Diesel truck arrived on the scene and attached chains to the front of the semi and was able to free the truck from the hump in the road.
