Imogene Painter Newton : Obituary

Mrs. Imogene Newton age 64 of Richards Rd. Ellijay, GA died Tuesday April 17, 2012.

Mrs. Newton was born November 13, 1947 in Clinton, TN. She is the daughter of the late Nelson Painter & Ruth Wright Painter. She was a homemaker and a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Newton is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Newton, two sisters Allie Painter Shorter & Rebecca Painter Shorter, and a brother Terry Painter.

Survivors include: Son & Daughter in-law: Jeff & Nickey Newton, Ellijay; 2 Grandchildren: Amberley & Keesha Newton, Ellijay; Sisters and Brothers in-law: Kathy & Donny Newton, Ellijay Phyllis & Kenneth Richards, Ellijay Juanita & George Allmon, Villanow, GA; Brothers and Sisters in-law: Michael & Janet Painter, Corbin, KY Alfred & Helen Painter, Ellijay; Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 19th from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday April 18th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
