EES Students Participate in Different Programs

Students in Stacy Sanford’s reading class proudly display the “golden spatula”. The golden spatula is
one way school personnel are attempting to improve lunchroom behavior at EES. Each week the spatula
is awarded to one class at each grade level. We would like to recognize Mrs. Sanford’s class for having
received this award 5 times this school year. Congratulations and keep up the good work.

Students at Ellijay Elementary School participated in a bus safety program presented by Ray Jenkins. Students learned about the proper way to load and unload the bus. They also were given detailed demonstrations of the operation of the emergency exits on the bus. EES would like to express sincere appreciation to Mr. Jenkins for his help in keeping our students safe.
