The Gilmer Soccer Club kicked off their fall 2013 season with the Johnny L Padgett 3v3 Tournament in Jasper on August 11th. The U10 girls teams placed first and second. The U10 Bobcats are: Elly Callihan, Reagan Boling, Anna Byrd, Octavia Bushey, Mazie Goble, Jessica Futch, Josselly Bautista Velasquez, and Cadence Smith. The girls are coached by Terri Bushey and April Nicholson.
The U12 Cheetahs placed second in their division. The Cheetahs are: Naomi Coombs, Elijah Swartz, Tyler Jack, and Dylan Byrd. The Cheetahs are coached by Stephanie Jack.
The soccer club strives to teach soccer skills in an organized fun environment with a positive attitude.
