Ellijay Police Chief Lacey Announces Sergeant’s Promotion

Sergeant’s Promotion News Release from Ellijay Chief of Police Edward Lacey:
Chief Edward Lacey and the Ellijay Police Department are pleased to announce the promotion of Officer Robert Brian Troglin to the rank of Sergeant.

Sergeant Troglin achieved his Basic Peace Officer’s certification in 2009 and has served the past three years as an officer with the Ellijay Police Department. Chief Lacey states,

“Sergeant Troglin is a man of character and integrity and I am pleased to have him on board the leadership team as we continue to raise the bar of professionalism in our Agency”.

Sergeant Troglin is a graduate of Gilmer High School and a life‐time resident of Gilmer County.
