East Ellijay Baptist Church is excited to announce that Reverend Chad Kelly has been called as our new pastor. Chad most recently served as Pastor at Cross Road Christian Fellowship in Ellijay and as Mission Coordinator for Match Point Partners. He previously served as Pastor at Cartecay Baptist Church in Ellijay, and as co-pastor at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Gaston, SC. Chad holds at Bachelor of Science in Bible/Pastoral studies from Columbia International University, and Master of Arts in Old Testament from Columbia, and a Master of Divinity, Equivalency from Southeastern Theological Seminary.
Chad will join with our current staff including Eric Colson, Minister to Students, and Ashleigh Queen, Director of Children’s Ministries.
Chad and his wife Betsy have 6 children, Hannah, Nathan, Jonas, Karis, Bailey, and Grant.
We look forward with anticipation to see what God will do in our fellowship as Chad and his family join with our body to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in our community.
