Daily Prayer: 09/04/2014

Romans 14:19 “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”Give us this day, O Lord, a consciousness of your presence at our side. Let your redeeming love fill our hearts so as to replace detrimental things that destroy. Weave into the fabric of our lives your design. Set us free from pettiness and enlarge our horizon so that we may see more than just our little world. Help us to see others from a perspective of patient understanding. Their problems are very real to them and they need and want our considerate concern. May we take advantage of the ever present opportunity to help build each other up in the faith.

This day, we dedicate ourselves anew to you. Have your own way in our lives for we know that it is always best. We follow Jesus Christ and are his disciples through the power of his blood.

Amen.
