Mrs. Adene Beck Shook: Obituary

Mrs. Adene Beck Shook age 67 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday October 15, 2014. Mrs. Shook was born April 7, 1947 in Dahlonega, GA to the late Royce and Hazel Louise Mincey Beck. She was a member of the Brown Chapel in Dahlonega, GA and worked for Gilmer County School System as a custodian. Mrs. Shook is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ronnie Beck, Royce Lee Beck and Frankie Beck.

Survivors include: husband, James Shook, of the home; son and daughter in-law, Junior and Karen Shook, Ellijay; daughters and sons in-law, Julie Ann and Mark Martin, Ellijay, Tina and Jose Perez, Ellijay; brother, David Beck, Eton, GA; sisters, Brenda Evans, Dahlonega, GA, Sudie Beck, Cumming, GA; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 18th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Evans, Rev. Pat Shelton, Rev. Ricky Brown and Rev. David Ashew officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday October 17th from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
