Mrs. Genova L. Kinser: Obituary

Mrs. Genova L. Kinser, age 85, of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Ellijay, died Thursday January 8, 2015. Mrs. Kinser was born March 11, 1929 in Fannin County the daughter of the late Walter and Sadie Arp Smith. She was retired from Galaxy Carpet and was a member of the Springs of Life Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter Sue Rice.

Survivors include: Husband, James Kinser, son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Donna Rice, Athens, TN, daughter and son-in-law; Martha and Johnny Cone, Stockbridge, 3 grandchildren Monica Hilton and Fiancée Jimmy Hensley, Hannah and Mark Rice, great-grandchildren, Quinton Taylor, Lyleigh Radford, sisters: Leslie Nichols, Barnesville, Regina Smith, Fayetteville, NC, Jeanette McClure, East Ellijay, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Wayne Beal, Rev. Shawn Pinette and Rev. Layman Langford officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the funeral home.
