A Lack of Republican Leadership…

Headline: Pathetic, Senate GOP Surrenders in DHS Funding/Executive Amnesty Fight…. Guy Benson. The headline should really read: Harry Reid still leads the Senate.

To quote a famous line from the movie Cool Hand Luke: “What we have here is a failure to communicate!” Obviously, one side isn’t listening. Americans communicated very clearly their demands last November to repeal Obamacare, stop illegal amnesty and stop or obstruct every other illegal act the Marxist, Obama is doing to kill America.

Did we not just deliver both houses of Congress into Republican Hands? Was that a terrible mistake? No, I don’t think so! Actually we sent enough good, new GOP conservatives sent up there to do exactly what the voters sent them up there to do, seize control of our government and pull it back from the abyss. It’s the GOP Leadership that didn’t get the message and that problem could be rectified immediately. We won! Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi got booted! We Won! What word don’t they understand?

So, why the problem? Well, it’s who qualifies! Party leadership should not, repeat, NOT, rest on seniority, but on the merits of competency. If either Boehner or McConnell were infantry generals, they would have already destroyed the fighting ability of their troops simply by their incompetence. They don’t know how to fight! We need leaders who do!

Harry Reid won his battles while our side cringed in fear of media criticism, called him names, complained he wasn’t following the rules but raised the white flag of capitulation none-the-less. McConnell and Boehner were trained to believe that way so they see no other path to move GOP principles forward than to give up. When Harry was in charge, he either ignored or changed the rules to screw our side further and, he always won.

The new bunch of conservatives up there, right now, should caucus and take immediate action, by coup if necessary, to remove both those old feckless, cowardly, incompetent RiNO leaders and replace them with a leadership not afraid to do combat. It’s time to put the Democrats on the defense. Make the democrats defend why their government is failing in all areas. Make the Democrats defend their Marxist economic policies. Make the Democrats take a stand on why our black population is still enslaved to government dependency. Make the Democrats explain why they think it’s important to have millions of illegal aliens flooding into our country bringing with them their all culture of crime, disease and poverty. Make them defend everything.

Amnesty, or rather the refusal to address the illegal immigrant amnesty problem, will be the one issue that will make the GOP forever irrelevant. Boehner and McConnell, slaves as they seem to be to the big money sources and the National Chamber of Commerce, will be held responsible. Make November 2014 stand for something. Make it a milestone to the reversal of America’s unhappy experiment with communism. I expect to hear my GA-9th Congressman, numbered among the changers. Remember, freedom is the goal, the constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em!(26 Feb 2015)
