Mrs. Lois Mooney Mulkey: Obituary

Mrs. Lois Mooney Mulkey age 78 of Ellijay, GA died Saturday March 28, 2015. Mrs. Mulkey was born July 3, 1936 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late, Elder Nalis and Rilla McClure Mooney. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church since 1952. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alice Waters and Lola Hunter and brother, J.T. Mooney.

Survivors Include: husband, Dwain Mulkey, Ellijay; sons, Mitchell and David Mulkey, both of Ellijay; daughter, Linda Stanfield, Ellijay; brothers, Hoover Mooney, Decatur, N.R. Mooney, Jr. and Elder Paul Mooney, both of Ellijay; sisters, Jo Ann Hill and Lemma Sanford, both of Ellijay; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 31st at 2pm from the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Mooney, Deacon Ralph Parker, Elder Paul Mooney and Rev. Euel Reece officiating. Interment will follow in the N.R. Mooney Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends Monday March 30th from 11am until 9pm at the funeral home.
