Mr. Hugh Don “Donnie” Edmondson, age 63 of Desert Hot Springs, CA passed on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.Donnie was born December 7, 1951 in Ellijay, GA to the late Edward Willis Edmondson and Elive Ruby Simmons Edmondson. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his brother Clarence Edward Edmondson.
He is survived by his companion, Keaton Desmund of Desert Hot Springs, CA; Sisters & brothers-in-law, Frances (Edmondson) and Cecil Patterson of Cherry Log, GA, Cynthia Ann McClure of Fairmount, GA, Celia Ann (McClure) and Wayne McMillen, Fairmount, GA; Brother & sister-in-law, Jerome and Donna McClure of Kingston, GA; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Graveside interment will held on April 8, 2015 at 8 a.m. Pacific time. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home Cathedral City, CA.
