Mrs. Lannie Grace Smith Plemons, age 86 of Acworth, Georgia passed on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Northstar Place in Kennesaw, Georgia. Born January 31, 1929 in Talladega, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Owen Smith and the late Margaret Barber Smith. Mrs. Plemons worked for the General Motor company as a seamstress. She is preceded in death by her husband Marion Henry Plemons.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Bryant of Acworth, GA., grandchildren and spouses, Kim and Duane Brown, Kurtis and Rhonda Bryant, Kaci and Andy Turner and Kari and Mark Bridges; 10 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday August 8th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel Dr. David Drake officiating. Music and vocals will be by Pastor Irene Wofford. Interment will follow in the Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery with Donnie Boatner, Josh Kochanski, Junior Shell, Wilburn Shell, Steve Morgan and Kurt Bryant serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the Logan Funeral Home.
