Mr. Howard W. Marlow, age 81 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed from this life on Friday, August 14, 2015, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. He was born February 19, 1934 to his late parents Fred and Cora Lee Stamey Marlow in Ivylog, Georgia. Howard was employed by Gold Kist Poultry. He is preceded in death by wife Joan Worley Marlow, sisters Jenny Pittman, Aletha Cruse, and brothers Willis, Ode, Edsel and Woodrow Marlow.
Survivors include daughter and son in law Cindy and Bo Townsend of Talking Rock, GA.; sons and daughter in laws Terry and Lisa Marlow of Dahlonega, GA., Jackie and Sheila Marlow of Blue Ridge, GA., William Marlow of Talking Rock, GA and Billy Marlow of Talking Rock, GA,; sister Frankie Henson of Murphy, NC.and brother, Jerry Marlow of Ellijay, GA,
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 18th, 2015 from Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Francis, David Marlow, Robbie Hales, Cody Stone, Dakota Marlow and Jody Clark.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 17th at the Logan Funeral Home.
