The Gilmer Ladycats have had a great season up to this point. Last week the Ladycats beat Arabia County in two, 13-0 and 9-1 advancing them to the Sweet 16 in Kathleen, GA.
Today the girls play a tough #1 seed Veterans team in a Best-of-3 series. These girls are no stranger to tough competition though as the 7-AAAA region is full of talent and tough teams. If the Ladycats win out today they will advance to the Elite 8 which is held in Columbus, GA. October 29-31.
