Ms. Edna Lou Todd Reed: Obituary

Ms. Edna Lou Todd Reed, age 89 of Jasper, Georgia, formerly of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday morning, October 17, 2016, at the Pruitt Healthcare of Jasper.

Born December 6, 1926 in Ellijay, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Henry Benjamin James Todd and the late Edna Earl Clayton Todd. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Baptist Church and was saved at Sunlight Baptist Church when she was 10 years old. Edna was a graduate of Gilmer High School and worked at the Dime Store for over 15 years. She enjoyed volunteering as a Pink Lady at the local hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband Grady Edwin Reed.

Edna is survived by her brother, James Earl Todd of Ellijay, GA, sister, Ruth Williams of Austell, GA. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 from the chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Watkins officiating. Music and singing will be by Ronald and Linda Hyde and Thelma Champion. Graveside interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickens county.

Family will receive friends from 1PM until the service hour at 2PM at the Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, GA.
