• GHS will have information sessions for students and parents interested in Move On When Ready for summer 2017 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, 11/11/16. Please call ahead to sign up, as space is limited.

This Week’s Feature: Apply to College Week

Apply to College Week will be held on the GHS campus during the school day the week of November 14-18.  This event, open to seniors, allows students the opportunity to apply to a post-secondary school with a representative from that school on site at GHS.  Schools attending this year include Dalton State College, Chattahoochee Technical College, University of North Georgia, Reinhardt University.  Military recruiters will also be available to talk to interested students who make an appointment.  All of the schools attending the GHS Apply to College Week have agreed to waive the application fee for students who apply during the GHS event.  To set up an appointment to apply to college or speak with a recruiter, students will need to fill out a form which they can access through the GHS web site during the week of 11/7 through 11/11/16.
