Mr. Henry (Bill) Martin: Obituary

Mr. Henry (Bill) Martin, age 87, of Ellijay, died Friday, February 10, 2017.

Mr. Martin was born February 26, 1929 in Mt. Burrell, Al, the son of the late James and Maggie Ann Hand Martin. He retired from the textile industry and attended the Church of God in Boaz, Al. He is preceded in death by a sons; Henry David Martin and Johnny Martin.

Survivors include: son and daughters-in-law: Mark and Julie Ann Martin and Lorene Martin, daughter and son-in-law: Maylene and Rev. Junior Maney all of Ellijay. 12 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Kerr, Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Gap Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
