Mrs. Annette Chastain Hefner: Obituary

Mrs. Annette Chastain Hefner, age 66, of Ellijay, died Monday July 3, 2017.

Mrs. Hefner was born August 30, 1950 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Rev. Olen and Rozelle Holt Chastain. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, a homemaker, former merchant, former secretary for the Gilmer Sheriff’s Department and member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Her parents, Husband, Ron Hefner, brother; Fred E. Chastain and sister; Mary Joan Chastain preceded her in death.

Survivors include; son; Shawn and Eschell Hefner of Ellijay, brother and sister-in-law; James and Karen Chastain of Hixson TN, sister and brother-in-law ; Sara and Michael Cantrell , Ellijay Grandson; Spencer Hefner of Ellijay.

Funeral service will be held Thursday ay 2:00pm from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Childers, Rev. Gerald Siniard and Rev. Tim Chadwick officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
