Mr. Walter Hershel Goble age 104 of Ellijay died Tuesday December 5, 2017.
Mr. Goble was born October 27, 1913, in Gilmer County, the son of the late Thomas Cleveland and Sarah Victoria Bryan Goble. He was a sawmiller , worked in maintenance for North Georgia Medical Center for a number of years., and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Dewey,Hugh and Raymond Goble, sisters; Daisey Withrow, Doshia Hensley, Pearl Duvall and Katherine Duvall.
Survivors include: 15 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews and his extended family and staff at Wildwood Health Care.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will be in the Goble cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 3 until 9pm at the funeral home.
