Mrs. Charlene J. Buckner age 55 of Ellijay died Monday April 16, 2018.
Mrs. Buckner was born May 17,1962, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Elbert and Lillie Pritchett Johnson. She worked as a waitress at White Columns Restaurant and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Her parents and siblings, Evelene Sisson, E.J. Pritchett, and Reed Johnson preceded her in death.
Survivors include: husband; Ernest Buckner, Jr, daughter; Cynthia Manison, Ellijay, son Jason Buckner, Ellijay, step children; Amy Collis, Blue Ridge, Cindy Naranjo, Chatsworth, Keith Buckner, Chatsworth, brothers; Ruel, Earl, Ardell, Don, and David Johnson, Farrell Pritchett all of Ellijay, sisters; Brenda Studdard and Betty Hamrick, Chatsworth, grandchildren; Noel, Brianna, Lillian, Skyler, Mya, and Sergio.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Wright and Rev. David Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Baptist Church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 5 until 9pm at the funeral home.
