Mr. Ronald Wayne Chambers, age 78, of Ellijay, died Saturday April 7, 2018.
Mr. Chambers was born February 24, 1940, in St. Louis, OK, the son of the late Wayne Lawrence and Dorothy Edith Simpson Chambers. He was a college graduate, served in the in the United States Air Force in Vietnam, worked as a CPA and was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his: wife; Elaine Murray Chambers, sons; Michael Chambers, Ellijay, Robert Chambers, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Jason Chambers, Broadway, NC, daughter Michelle Endozo, Canton, sister; Linda Starn, Las Vegas, NV along with 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held Friday April 13, 2018, at 2:00pm from the Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor David Smedley officiating. Military honors will be by the US Air Force.
The family will meet with friends Friday from 1:00pm until the service hour at the church. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church 3295 Old Hwy 5 S. Ellijay, Ga. 30540 in memory of Mr. Chambers.
