Mrs. Veronica Patricia McCall age 89 of Ellijay died Monday June 25, 2018.
Mrs. McCall was born November 14, 1928, in Omega, GA the daughter of the late John Wesley Hawkins and Ophelia Watson Hawkins. She worked in food services as a cashier, of the Baptist Faith and preceded in death by her husband Robert William McCall.
Survivors include: daughter: Linda F. Slajer, Ellijay, sons and daughter-in-law: James D. and Shelia McCall, United Kingdom, John R. and Teresa McCall, Dallas, brother; Clarence (Tubby) Hawkins, Omega, sister: Dottie McDonald, Boston, GA, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 3:00pm from the Lelia United Methodist Church in Omega Ga with Rev. Gary Ash officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
